Dai is an expert developer and an advocate for digital privacy, often talking about the importance of anonymity online. Additionally, Dai’s work in the late 90s is the first to be referenced in the Bitcoin whitepaper.

Crypto++
Dai is an expert developer who developed Crypto++: a library of cryptographic algorithms written in open-source C++. This also happens to be the same language that Bitcoin was written in, meaning Dai’s library could very well’ve assisted Satoshi Nakamoto when creating Bitcoin.Source

B-MONEY
Although created 10 years earlier, Wei’s b-money was built on extremely similar beliefs to Bitcoin. It proposed that a digital currency should be facilitated by a community and that workers should be rewarded for their contribution. Satoshi later confirmed that b-money was in fact an inspiration for Bitcoin.Source

THE CYPHERPUNKS CLUB
Dai was a regular contributor to the Cypherpunks mailing list, which included many other early Bitcoin contributors. He used the mailing list to post details about his b-money creation to fellow Cypherpunks.Source

ACCLAIM FROM SATOSHI
In emails exchanged between the pair in 2008, Satoshi informed Dai about his Bitcoin project admitting he was looking to expand on Dai’s ideas. Nakamoto went on to reference b-money in the Bitcoin whitepaper.Source
