Constructing a Gamified Property Experience

The Challenge

Mey Network, a property tokenisation platform, sought to leverage their Layer 1 blockchain to create an engaging, gamified experience that would drive user acquisition, boost activity, and align with their property-based offerings. They partnered with us to design and develop a SocialFi campaign that would build momentum, increase volume, and expand their user base, all while keeping the theme rooted in property investment.

The Results

Introducing Mey Land, a dynamic virtual map where users can explore, complete quests, and earn bricks, tokens, and rewards. As users progress, they watch their personalised 3D property evolve in real-time. This immersive, gamified experience, complete with sleek branded visuals, captivates users and keeps them engaged while enhancing their connection to the property investment theme.

To enhance the onboarding experience, we introduced a friendly character named Mey. As an approachable guide, Mey offers helpful tips and walks users through the platform’s features, making it easier to understand and navigate. Her welcoming presence ensures that new users feel comfortable and supported as they explore Mey Land, making the platform more accessible and less intimidating.

For the map design in Mey Land, we purposefully opted for a minimalist, mono-chromatic approach to ensure that the rest of the UI remains front and centre. This sleek, distraction-free design ensures that the UI elements stand out and allows users to navigate the platform with ease. Bright secondary colours are used strategically to highlight key areas for interaction, guiding users naturally through the experience and making navigation intuitive and effortless.

Leveraging three.js, we brought Mey Land to life with dynamic 3D property buildings that evolve as users progress. As users level up, their properties transform into more luxurious versions, offering a tangible and rewarding sense of progression. The buildings rotate in the main dashboard view, adding interactivity and a sense of growth that keeps users motivated to continue their journey within Mey Land.
