The Project

The Challenge

Sparkle AI, a research and development company, sought assistance from Avark to develop their latest product: a revolutionary wallet. They needed support with brand strategy, creating an approachable brand, along with developing a robust UX, and clear user interface design. Additionally, they required a seamless front-end experience. Their goal was to enable users to send money, earn rewards, invest, and earn interest—without the complexity and jargon of the Web3 world. We were able to assist them by offering all of our services, ensuring their vision was brought to life effectively and efficiently.

The Results

We collaborated with Sparkle AI to bring their wallet vision to life, assisting in generating a unique name, a cohesive brand strategy, and a welcoming identity. Our focus on intuitive UX ensured a straightforward and accessible interface. As a result, finestt is functional, user-friendly, and inclusive, simplifying financial management for all users.

Crafting a Brand Vision

We kicked off with a collaborative brand strategy workshop at the Avark office, where we delved into understanding the core elements of Sparkle AI’s envisioned brand and product. 

Following the workshop, we crafted a detailed brand strategy document based on our findings. This document encapsulated elements such as the USP, core values, brand personality, and tagline, providing a solid framework for defining and guiding the remaining stages of the project.

Next, we embarked on a collaborative process to refine and select the ideal name for the brand.After evaluating several options, the team settled on ‘finestt.’ This name resonated with the idea of securely ‘nesting’ money while also nodding to ‘finance,’ aligning seamlessly with the brand’s vision and values.

Designing a Distinct Identity

Once we had finalised the name and brand strategy, we moved on to developing the brand identity. Our objective was to create a visual identity that struck the right balance—making the brand both approachable and secure, while also conveying reliability and professionalism.

BRAND DESIGN

The outcome was a bright, fresh brand. The logo, which includes both an icon and wordmark, was designed with a fluid, dynamic feel. The icon subtly references the brand name and symbolises the movement of funds being sent, transferred, and invested. The script-based wordmark enhances this with a sense of connectivity and personability.

To complement this, we established a colour palette bursting with a range of green hues, along with a versatile secondary colour palette, offering flexibility for various applications. This visual identity is further enhanced by friendly photography and playful patterns—shapes, arrows, and squiggles—which are incorporated into illustrations and backgrounds throughout the brand rollout.

The best part of working on this project was that we were fortunate enough to have our client from Japan in the office. Collaborating in person strengthened our teamwork, sparked fresh ideas, and made the entire experience more enjoyable and rewarding

WEB DESIGN

All the brand elements were seamlessly integrated into a one-page informational website, designed to serve as a ‘shopfront’ showcasing the wallet and its features to potential users. This website effectively highlights the wallet’s unique attributes and benefits, providing a clear and engaging introduction to its functionalities.

UX DESIGN

Simplifying User Experience

When refining the UX, ease of use and accessibility were primary concerns. Many Web3 wallets have complex user experiences, which we felt were too intimidating for the audience finestt aimed to attract. Our challenge was to simplify the UX, focusing on essential features while incorporating elements like walkthroughs and tooltips to make the user journey as smooth and intuitive as possible.

Additionally, we needed to effectively compartmentalise the app’s various functions to ensure they coexist without overwhelming users. It was crucial to create a clear and straightforward separation between the funds management and investment sections of the app.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Delivering a Cohesive Product

The culmination of all our efforts led to the inception of the product design. By seamlessly combining the clear, intuitive UX with the bright and fresh brand identity, we created a wallet that excels in both functionality and aesthetics. The result is a cohesive and engaging product experience that not only simplifies financial management but also attracts users with its vibrant, approachable design. This integration ensures that every aspect of the wallet—from its user interface to its visual elements and micro animations—works together harmoniously to deliver a superior and memorable experience.
